Hi, I’m Sarah.

I’m Blenheim born and raised. I’m a mum of three and the person behind Grown by Sarah.

I’ve always loved gardening. It started with vegetables rather than flowers. A few years ago I started growing dried flowers just to see if I could. It was only meant to be a little experiment but it didn’t take long before I was completely hooked. Then came fresh flowers and eventually my whole backyard was taken over by flower beds.

If you grow flowers you’ll know how it goes. You see a new variety you like so you plant it. Then you find another one. Before long you’re trying to work out where on earth you’re going to fit everything.

I love growing from seed and watching those tiny little seedlings turn into something you can actually pick. I probably love the picking and making bouquets part most of all.

There’s always something changing in the garden. I love making bouquets from whatever is looking good at the time. My style is pretty natural, colourful and a little bit wild. Lots of texture and movement. Basically I like my flowers to look like they’ve just come out of the garden.
